Garbellotto celebrates 250 years of history, tradition and innovation

Garbellotto S.p.A. has celebrated an extraordinary milestone: 250 years in business. The anniversary was marked on Friday, 13 June at the company’s headquarters in Sacile, where more than 700 guests gathered for a day dedicated to its history, the people who have supported its growth and the strong relationship developed with the local area over time.

Eight Generations of Craftsmanship and Innovation

Founded in 1775 in San Fior and later closely connected with Conegliano for many years, Garbellotto is now an internationally recognised company specialising in the production of wooden barrels and solutions for the wine industry. Today, it is led by brothers Piero and Gregorio Garbellotto, representing the eighth generation of the family.

The company employs 110 people and has successfully transformed centuries-old craftsmanship into a modern production model, while continuing to place quality, research and expertise at the heart of its work.

A Celebration Shared with Institutions and the Community

The event was attended by representatives of public institutions, the business community, local authorities, associations, sport and the media. The presence of so many guests confirmed Garbellotto’s role not only as a successful company, but also as an important point of reference for the wider region.

During the celebration, long-serving employees and families who have worked with the company for several generations were honoured in recognition of their contribution over the years.

A Heritage Looking Towards the Future

The anniversary was above all an opportunity to look ahead. After two and a half centuries of change, Garbellotto continues to grow without losing sight of its roots, bringing to the world a culture of wood built on experience, innovation and family continuity.
